About Us

Hi, we are Eric and Melissa! We were born and raised in the Bay Area and we love dogs and going on adventures! Both of us have cared for family pets, friends' fur babies, and neighbors' four legged companions for many many years. 

Eric's professional background is in industrial construction as an electrician and is also a certified emergency medical responder. He has worked on numerous jobs such as Amazon distribution centers, LAM Research Laboratories, and the Bay Area Bridge Skyway Project, to name a select few. He also provided electrical construction as a volunteer with an emergency response and recovery crew after the Sonoma fires. 

Melissa comes with more than 10 years of animal husbandry experience working in veterinary hospitals. She began her professional career with animals as a receptionist and veterinary technician at Abbey Pet Hospital, then Kensington Veterinary Hospital and Holistic Veterinary Care. Looking for a change, she became a certified paralegal with an estate and trust law office. And in 2019 we began volunteering with the county search and rescue team, an extremely rewarding endeavor!

In our spare time, you will likely find us hiking the trails with our dogs, May and Ein!
